1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines permitted and prohibited conduct when using CounselGrid. It applies to all users and all plans.
2. You must use CounselGrid lawfully
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and court rules.
- Comply with professional obligations and ethical rules (including Bar Council of India rules for advocates).
- Maintain confidentiality and privilege where applicable.
3. Prohibited activities
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network.
- Bypass entitlements, rate limits, or access controls.
- Upload malware, exploit code, or perform penetration attempts without written permission.
- Scrape, mine, harvest, or reverse engineer the Services or data without permission.
- Upload content you do not have rights to use, including infringing IP or privacy rights.
- Use the Services to harass, defame, threaten, or engage in discrimination.
- Use the Services for political advertising, unlawful surveillance, or illegal profiling.
- Use the Services to generate or distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent, or intended to cause harm.
4. AI and content responsibilities
- AI outputs may be inaccurate; you must review and validate before use.
- You are responsible for what you submit and what you do with outputs.
- Do not submit content that violates confidentiality obligations unless you have authority and safeguards in place.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and suspend or terminate access, block content, or report unlawful activity where required. We may also impose technical restrictions to protect security and availability.
